The Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) organised a ceremony in which the Council honoured its female staff members on the Bahrain Women's Day in response to the kind call of HM the King's Wife and the Supreme Council for Women (SCW)'s President, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
This reflects the Council's keenness on constructive response to the auspicious call of Her Royal Highness regarding the honouring of working Bahraini women, which reflects Her Royal Highness's constant keenness on boosting women's exceptional role in the Kingdom's sustainable development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The honourees expressed their gratitude to, and appreciation of, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and also to the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS)'s Secretary-General Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for their constant support to all Council's staff and for their trust in women's capability to assume prominent portfolios.
