In cooperation with Ministry of Labour, Tamkeen and Bahrain Alwani Society, Supreme Council for Women organised a workshop on entrepreneurship under the theme "Together to develop our reality." This is considered the first workshop in achieving the impact of lifelong learning within the national strategy for elevating women to enable young men and women to move toward entrepreneurship. The Advisor of Training and Development at the General Secretariat at the Supreme Council for Women, Baheeja Al-Daylami said that the workshop is implemented in the framework of community partnership with Ministry of Labour, Tamkeen, and Bahrain Alwani Society to enable young people who are registered in the unemployment system to tend for entrepreneurship. Director of Human Resources Development Directorate at Ministry of Labour, Essam Ismael Al-Alawi pointed out the importance of tending to entrepreneurship as a promising field which attracts creative ideas and projects for young people who are job-seekers, and he also presented successful stories. For his part, Director of supporting customers in Tamkeen, Raed Abdullah delivered a speech highlighting the role of Tamkeen in supporting Bahraini individuals and institutions, and the various programmes they many benefit from to reinforce the potentials of entrepreneurs. Mohammed Al-Ahmadi, the Advisor at Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Counselor of Bahrain Alwani Society introduced a visual presentation on how to start a commercial business, and factors to make it successful. Afrah Ajjaj presented her personal experience as an entrepreneur on her project "Takatuf" to organise conference and events. On the other hand, the workshop targets 60 male and female job-seekers from all practical and scientific levels to determine those who have a serious desire, so they can be trained and directed to entrepreneurship.
