Under the patronage of the French President Francois Hollande, the Arab World Institute hosted on an international forum on thinkers and doers of the Arab World, entitled "the Renewal of the Arab World".
The two-day conference, which concluded here today, aimed to offer positive vision of the Arab world.
Participants from 21 countries included mainly French President Hollande and Foreign Minister Alain Jupe, UAE Culture, Youth and Community Development Minister Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the Chief Executive Officer of PineBridge Investments Middle East Talal Al-Zain and Deputy General Manager of the Bahrain Development Bank Shaikh Hesham bin Mohammed Al Khalifa
Speaking during a plenary session, Shaikha Mai highlighted the achievements of the Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research, and affirmed the crucial role it has played in promoting the values of co-existence and respect among cultures and civilisations.
