Prime Minister Sherif Ismail issued a decision Monday appointing Sahar Nasr as Egypt's governor to the World Bank (WB).
Nasr is acting as the country's International Cooperation Minister.
She was also named as Egypt's governor to other international bodies like the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Islamic Bank for Development and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa.
Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer was also appointed as Egypt's governor to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil was also appointed as Egypt's governor to the Arab Monetary Fund.
Appointments were issued in the Gazette on Monday.
