Minister of Social Development, Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Bulooshi highlighted that the products of the productive families participating in the annual Exhibition “Made in My Home,” which will be held on 25 – 26 of February in Gulf Hotel under the patronage of HH Shaikha Thajba Bint Salman Al Khalifa, will be various and advanced. Those products indicated the advanced level of Bahraini productive hands, as well as the efforts done by Ministry of Social Development in raising the productive level through the design and creativity center, which was established in the capital’s mall for the Bahraini hands products. Dr Fatima said that the center represents one of the pioneering and nontraditional ideas that promotes the provision of designs and creative ideas in the areas where the Bahraini families and individuals work, in addition to training and rehabilitating programmes through Bahraini expertise, and in cooperation with international experts. On the other hand, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa had issued an Edict in 2011 to organize the productive activity from home (The Productive Home), which mainly aims at creating a quantum and a qualitative change in the activities of the productive families and elevating the economic activities done from home. The families benefited from the issuance of the Edict were 50 families out of 600 productive families.
