Shura Council's Women and Children Affairs Committee Chairperson Hala Ramzi Fayez has lauded the remarkable role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in supporting and empowering Bahraini women in all fields, lauding the cooperation between Shura council and SCW in order to approve laws that maintain women rights and participation in various fields of developments.
She pointed out that the keenness of HRH Princess Sabeeka on meeting MPs and Shura members shows her interest in consolidating the relation with the legislative branch, adding that the interest is mutual.
She asserted that Women and Children Affairs Committee will spare no effort to upgrading Bahraini women's level and enabling them of practicing their role in building Bahrain's future.
MP Fayez said that the committee will support the efforts aimed at achieving the equal opportunities' principle and empowering working women, out of their belief in the Bahraini women major role at His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's reform project.
She said that Bahraini women should get the chance to express herself in all fields, which the committee will work on achieving through laws and regulations.
