Police searched Tuesday for two men and two women suspected of beating a young woman into a coma outside a Santa Ana, Calif., nightclub. Authorities already had one suspect in custody in the brutal attack on Kim Pham, 23, who remained on life support, the Los Angeles Times reported. Her sister said in a Facebook post Monday that she is brain dead and the family was keeping her on a ventilator so her organs could be donated as she would have wished. Pham was waiting outside The Crosby with friends shortly after midnight Saturday when an argument began with another group. Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana police said a woman, a Santa Monica resident in her 20s, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm, KABC-TV reported. A reward of $5,000 was offered for information leading to the apprehension of the two men and two women still at large, described as Latinos between 20 and 25 years old. "We believe our victim and her friends were in line and there was something that precipitated a verbal argument," Bertagna said. Erik Doan, Pham's uncle, told the Times she graduated from Chapman University after majoring in psychology. "She had so much to give back, so much to experience, and it was cut short," he said, speaking at a memorial display outside the nightclub.
