A New York woman has raised enough money to travel to South Dakota to watch the execution of a man who raped and killed her 9-year-old daughter in 1990. Friends, family members and strangers came together to raise money to send Tina Curl and her husband Dave to South Dakota to watch the execution of Donald Moeller, ABCNews.com reported. \"I have waited 22 long years for this,\" said Tina Curl, who arrived in Sioux Falls, S.D. \"He watched her die and I am going to watch him die.\" Moeller was convicted and sentenced to death for the death of Becky O\'Connell. At that time, the Curls lived in South Dakota. After Becky\'s death, they relocated to Lake Luzerne, N.Y. \"After this she wasn\'t going to stay in that state,\" said Rhonda Springer, a longtime friend of Curl who helped spearhead a fundraiser to send the Curls to South Dakota to witness the execution. The Curls drove 1,400 miles from New York since Tina Curl said she has a bad heart and is unable to fly. \"It means everything,\" Tina Curl said. \"I ain\'t only doing it for me. I am doing it for Becky.\" The execution is scheduled to take place by Saturday.
