Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour visited Dar Al Aman Home for the Elderly on Thursday and checked on the services being provided to the elderly people there.
Ensour, accompanied by Minister of Social Development Reem Abu Hassan, met with a group of elderly people and inquired about their condition and needs.
He said the government is keen to provide all support and facilities to this segment of the population in recognition of their services and the sacrifices they made during their life.
The prime minister urged all those working in the field of social development in the public sector as well as the volunteers to serve this section of the populace in a humanitarian and ethical manner.
Director of the care center Mazen Husseini presented a briefing about the facility which houses 26 elderly people and also informed about the services provided to these people.
