Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), has lauded the Labour Ministry’s keenness to provide all facilities for Bahraini women.
HRH Princess Sabeeka praised the Ministry’s keenness to solve the difficulties facing Bahraini women in a practical and realistic way by providing them with opportunities to get decent jobs and join the labour market.
In a letter addressed to the Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan by the SCW Secretary-General Hala Al-Ansari following the conclusion of the Second Exhibition for Women and Labour – 'Opportunities and Choices’, HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister for his tremendous efforts to ensure the success of the exhibition, including finding solutions to the problems facing women job seekers.
Al-Ansari praised the exhibition’s programmes and functions, which, she said, contributed to achieving positive results.
She thanked the Labour Ministry’s team’s dedication and keenness to provide all support for all participants, calling for the need to set up a joint team to follow-up on the implementation of the exhibition’s outcomes.
Labour Minister expressed delight at HRH Princess Sabeeka’s interest in and close follow-up on the exhibition’s programmes and functions, lauding her pivotal and crucial role in supporting Bahraini women and empowering them in all fields.
It is to be noted that the Second Exhibition for Women and Labour – 'Opportunities and Choices’, was organised by the Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women. It was held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from October 21 to 23, 2014.
