Education Minister and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi stressed Bahrain’s keen interest in benefiting from outstanding international higher education expertise.
The minister highlighted the recent implementation by the Higher Education Council of a programme to train faculty members in institutions of higher education in cooperation with the British Higher Education Academy.
Receiving officials from the University of Bolton, Al Nuaimi also referred to the implementation of the academic accreditation programme in collaboration with the British Accreditation Council to assess and review academic programmes in Bahraini university institutions.
The University of Bolton officials said they were looking forward to launching and expanding cooperation with Bahrain.
