HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Mohamed bin Arar Al Nuaimi opened today the Qatar Conference Hall at the Mahmud Kashgari University in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, HE Ambassador Al Nuaimi said that Qatar donation for preparing and equiping the University Conference Hall stems from the ties of friendship between the two countries, and its belief that education is the cornerstone of community development".
He praised the developing relations between the two countries which last month wintessed the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of education, higher education and scientific research which will provide the legal framework for cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research.
For his part, the Mahmud Kashgari University Rector, Dr Ibraev Almaz praised the important role being played by the State of Qatar, through its support for educational and development projects." He extended his thanks and appreciation of the State of Qatar for its contribution to the preparation and equiping the University Conference Hall.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials in the education sector in Kyrgyz, as well as university professors, students and representatives of several television channels and media of the Kyrgyz Republic.
