Commenting on the visit, Dr. Tod said: “This meeting is a key step in broadening the collaboration efforts between Khalifa University and Abu Dhabi Police. This is coming from the University’s commitment towards contributing to the advancement of the various government and security sectors in the UAE. We have been fortunate to attract many strong new faculty members and researchers in the health care sector, and view such collaboration as key for them to achieve the knowledge transfer to local stakeholders while advancing our research and teaching agenda.” Colonel Abdul Rahman said: “The visit aims at discussing the different specializations and collaboration in scientific and research related topics. We are grateful to Khalifa University for their cooperation and we hope to see more of it in the coming days for the benefit of the UAE and its nationals.” The series of collaborations between Khalifa University and Abu Dhabi Police has previously witnessed collaboration in the field of technical training and a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that aims at providing training materials on digital forensics and cyber crimes, which will be used by Abu Dhabi Police personnel.
