The cabinet held a meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss a set of important economic, political and social issues as well as plans for carrying out major national projects.
The cabinet is expected to discuss a report on the security situation, the power outage, as well as the implementation of the new Suez Canal project, the development of the western North Coast, as well as a report on Egypt's foreign policy.
The meeting will also assess the efforts exerted to lure foreign investments as well as preparations for Egypt Friends Conference.
Preparations for the new academic year and Eid Ul-Adha feast will also be raised at the cabinet meeting
