Arabian Gulf University (AGU)’s Chancellor Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Ohaly has received Ambassador of Korea to Bahrain, Koo Hyun-Mo.
The ambassador was briefed about AGU’s role as a regional university owned, funded and managed by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. He was also briefed about the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City and its constituents which include the 300-bed capacity educational hospital, scientific research centres, a conference centre, an urban centre, housing for university staff and students, in addition to expansion in the fields of innovation.
It was agreed upon to arrange future meetings between AGU and Korean university officials, as well as relevant private sector in Korea.
