Banha University signed on Thursday a cooperation protocol with the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the framework of a project to provide decent jobs for Egypt\'s youth. Decent Jobs for Egypt\'s Young People is a project sponsored by the Ministry of Manpower in cooperation with ILO. The protocol was signed in the presence of Yousef Qaryouti, Director of ILO in Cairo. The protocol aims to increase decent employment opportunities for young people, especially in rural areas in Qalyubia governorate, said the vice president of Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Gamal Ismail. The protocol also aims to expand the capacity of educational and training institutions to provide skills and learning experiences to meet the requirements of the labor market, Ismail added. It endeavors to strengthen the capacity of public and local employment offices to provide work for young people, the official explained.
