President of Banha University Sayed Youssef al Kady said that the extraordinary session of the Association of Arab Universities is of special importance given its distinguished role in boosting cooperation among Arab countries in the field of education.
Al Kady made the remarks before leaving for Amman to take part in the two-day extraordinary session, which will see a wide participation by both Egyptian public and private universities.
Al Kady's itinerary includes visits to Al Zaytoonah University as well as the Hashemite University to probe prospects of cooperation.
The Association of Arab Universities is a body that coordinates efforts among Arab universities with the aim of offering support for Arab students.
