Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi received officials representing three schools which were declared winners in the gardening contest.
The ministry organized the competition under the theme “Better small-sized gardening ideas”, on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS 2017). The contest attracted more than 90 schools.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed the importance of the gardening competition, paying tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President for the initiative.
He congratulated the winning schools for their achievements, hailing the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff and students. The ceremony was attended by senior officials and principals of the winning schools.
