UAE Ministry of Higher Education
Casablanca - WAM

The UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, MoHESR, and Morocco's Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executive Training on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote cooperation between their higher education institutions, through supporting joint scientific research projects, signing more agreements and exchanging scholarships.
The MoU was signed by Saeed Al Hassani, Undersecretary, MoHESR, on behalf of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Lahcen Daoudi, Moroccan Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executive Training, in a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Casablanca.
As per the MoU, the two parties will exchange a number of government scholarships for each other's students. The MoU also provides for exchanging university student visits for cultural, social and sports activities, delegations for conferences as well as information on academic qualifications.
Details of the scholarships and visit exchanges will be specified later through diplomatic channels.
