Tunisia's Minister of Education Naji Djelloul described the strong relations between Qatar and Tunisia as historic and unique, noting Qatar's support to his country in different fields including education.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) during his visit to Doha he said the relations between both countries are special in various fields including higher education, confirming his country's eagerness to strengthen and deepen the cooperation further to cover all levels and sectors of education.
Djelloul added that he discussed with a number of Qatari officials ways to strengthen this unique relation in the field of education, saying they reviewed means to push the cooperation forward to match their ambitions and aspirations.
He was impressed with the level of educational institutions he visited in Qatar, justifying its high ranking globally and regionally. Qatar has understood and realized that the only path to civilization is through education and schools and pursued this path, he added.
Djelloul said that his visit has been successful in all aspects adding that it has set a better and stronger foundation for future cooperation in the field of education, where the future will witness a quality leap due to agreements in the field.
Djelloul visitied Qatar University and delivered a lecture on training in the field of education. The lecture was attended by QU President Dr Hassan bin Rashid Al Derham and number of officials, staff and students.
