HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani opened on Tuesday the Education Conference 2017 and the National Scientific Research Week, held this year under the slogan "Pioneering and Creativity" at Qatar National Convention Centre.
A number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers, and guests of the conference of scientists, researchers and experts in educational and research areas attended the opening of the conference.
A short film entitled Pioneering and Creativity was displayed to showcase for the achievements of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the scientific fields, and in the areas of scientific studies and scientific and applied research.
The conference presents educational issues and trends related to education in the State of Qatar to enhance the role of school leaders and teachers.
The conference also seeks to provide an appropriate platform for the exchange of national and international experience in this aspect, and provide a scientific forum to introduce national experiences internationally and the effective practices in the field of education in order to allow creation of a sustainable communication network that provides opportunities for educational and research cooperation among workers in the field of education.
