Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul AlFalasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, and Dmitry Ivanov, Russian Minister of Education, have discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the field of higher education and scientific research.
During the meeting, which was held in Moscow, they also discussed ways of activating a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, signed between them in 2014.
AlFalasi has discussed aspects of cooperation with a number of officials of institutions of higher education, particularly Moscow State University, which was established in 1755, The National Research University Higher School of Economics, which is one of the leading and largest universities in Russia specialised in economics, social sciences, mathematics, computer science, media communications and design, Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU) , which is one of the best Russian universities in the computer science field and the UNESCO Institute of IT in Education, Moscow.
During his visit to Russia, AlFalasi attended the Moscow International Forum for Education.
