Ireland's prime minister, Enda Kenny and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, paid here today a visit to the Ministry of Higher Education. Upon arrival, they were received by the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research between the Kingdom and Ireland. For his part, the Irish premier expressed his care for Saudi students on scholarships in Ireland, stressing his country's readiness to facilitate their tasks and overcome the obstacles that might hinder their way. It is note mentioning that number of Saudi male and female students on scholarship studying in Irish universities reaches about two thousand and seven hundred studying in a number of health, engineering and technology disciplines.
