It’s official! Children across the USA are being encouraged to gain hands-on experience with all the latest technological innovations in iPads, Kindle Fires, Samsung Galaxy Tabs and others. However, not all parents can afford to buy these electronic devices for their kids, so alternatives are being sought. Even with Christmas coming up and the festive season upon us, the price tags on many of these items are simply prohibitive. Also a concern is the fact that unimpeded access to the Internet may expose children to the inherent dangers of unsupervised browsing. Of course the devices themselves need to be protected from the daily rigors of being manhandled by kids; but that’s easily solved with protective sleeves and carriers. Many of these technological devices also require all sorts of accoutrements such as USB devices, HDMI cables, backups, earphones, mice and the like. Cost Effective Solutions for Kids at School Of course the age of the kids is an important consideration when deciding upon a tablet. Kids up to the age of 10 years old will do well with many of the substitutes to the high-profile brand-name products. These include the Polaroid Kids Tablet, The Meep, ClickNKIDS and the Kurio 7s. Each of these devices has many unique characteristics that make it enticing to students. Most feature rear cameras, with all sorts of apps and games available to kids. Of course since these are kids, it’s unlikely that casino style games will be available. Therefore things like slots rules may apply only if free play casino games are allowed. In any event, kids can enjoy a wealth of exciting games, and their parents can check on their progress once they get home from school. Source: Education News
