Egypt and France signed on Friday a memo of understanding to boost technical education.
The memo was signed by the ministry, the French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and the European Institute for Cooperation and Development in the Middle East.
Education and Technical Education Minister Hilali Sherbini, who attended the signing ceremony, said
the memo comes as part of ongoing cooperation between the ministry and the French side, especially the chamber of commerce.
He unveiled the ministry's efforts to develop technical education and help students gain skills needed for labor market.
The memo aims at improving technical education sector in Egypt through developing curricula, providing practical training to students and engaging local and international companies in providing job opportunities to graduates.
