Male and female students of the Zayed University and the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) will receive 600 laptops worth AED 3 million from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment as part of a program which runs into its 8th year, according to Ibrahim Bu Malha, Chairman of the board of trustees of the Establishment. The donation was announced at a press conference in Dubai. Bu Malha added that the move is based on directives from Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide support to the country's students and educational institutes. "The plan which runs into its 8th year has expanded outside Dubai this year to include colleges in HCT campuses in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah," he further said.
