Britain has granted Kuwaiti medical students an additional 45 seats for the next academic year, taking the total number of seats up to 115, Kuwait Cultural Office in London announced Saturday.
"The seats are for students seeking to study medicine and dentistry," Head of Cultural Office Mohmmad Al-Hajiri told KUNA.
He pointed out that Kuwait has received the biggest number of seats for medical students at British universities. "Out of 450 seats allocated for foreign students, Kuwaitis have got 115." He advised aspirant students to go to the website of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office in London to see the conditions to choose their major.
He noted that students must pass ILETS tests with appropriate grades to be accepted by each university.
