UAE offers 53 school buses to Yemen
A consignment of 53 school buses

A consignment of 53 school buses, provided by the UAE in support of the educational sectors in Yemen, arrived in Aden today.
Mohammed Nasr Al Shazly, Under-secretary of the Governorate of Aden, thanked the UAE for the continuous support to the liberated areas in Yemen.
The UAE's assistance to the Yemeni educational sector includes construction, maintenance and furnishing of schools, as well as renovation of accommodations in the universities.
The UAE's aid to Yemen during the period between April 2015 and April 2017 reached AED 8 billion, of which, a total of AED 160.1 million was spent on revamping Yemen's educational sectors.
