The Ministry of Industry has launched a technical education training program in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena as part of a program funded by the European Union to train technical education cadres all across the country.
Director of the Training Project on Access to the Labor Market in its second phase Mohammad Ragab underlined the importance of technical education and vocational training to qualify students on the needs of the labor market.
At a workshop Sunday to train as many as 160 teachers in Qena technical schools, Ragab said the project has achieved a success and would continue until it targets all technical education schools in the governorate.
Meanwhile, Director of the Vocational Guidance Unit Amira Dawoud said next week will witness the launch of a new training workshop which groups as many as 50 teachers.
