The National Guard will launch soon a third training program for Kuwaiti youth to help upgrade their skills and build their capacity.
"Organizing this training program for the third year in a row is part of the National Guard's social responsibility role and comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait to support youth," said Brigadier Fahad Eid Nasser, Commander of Organization and Manpower at Kuwait National Guard in a press statement Wednesday.
He pointed out that the program, themed 'Development and Loyalty to Generous Kuwait', comprises five training courses about first aid, diving, computer skills, motor mechanics and business management.
Registration for courses will last for nine days, will start on August 31 at the National Guard Officers Club and some of posts in the cooperative markets and malls, said Brigadier Nasser.
He added that the first and second editions of the program have achieved great success and attracted large numbers of Kuwait youth who were keen to develop their skills.
The National Guard leadership greatly supports the initiative which aims to achieve one of the main goals of the National Guard strategic plan of enhancing the role of the community, he said.
