The UK is committed to providing help to Egypt to improve the standards of education being the base for the country's stability and prosperity, said British Ambassador in Cairo John Casson.
The remarks were made during the inauguration of the British International School in Egypt, according to a press statement released on Thursday by the British embassy.
Casson said that Britain’s distinguished status in education could help Egypt in addressing challenges facing Cairo in the field of education.
The British diplomat said that he was committed to working with policy makers in Egypt to encourage significant change in the Egyptian education system in order to enable Egyptian youths to obtain educational services and skills they deserve.
