A female Kuwaiti student is "recovering well" after being stabbed last week at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, Kuwaiti Embassy in Saudi Arabia announced Wednesday.
The Kuwaiti student was assaulted in the parking lot of the campus by an anonymous female student last Sunday, head of the cultural attache at Kuwait Embassy Dr. Mesfir Mahdi Al-Mesfir told KUNA.
The girl was taken to a hospital in Makkah and was discharged on the same day after her condition became stabl.
The diplomat pointed out that Saudi authorities have been investigating the attack, adding that the Kuwaiti Embassy is closely following-up on the case.
