Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Issa commended educational effortS by the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), stressing the ministry pays more attention to arts, sciences and maths.
Al-Issa made the remark while visiting the center to be briefed on classes, curricula as well as workshops of applied sciences and ceramic arts.
He said that there is cooperation among the ministries of education in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states in the field of invention, adding his ministry does its best to achieve development and make progress inside the country.
He noted that the project of robot at Kuwait's schools will be a source of pride as it will cope with swift scientific developments.
On his part, the Director General of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) Dr. Adnan Shihab Eldin said that a team of international experts has been developing the center for six months.
He voiced his hope that the center would materialize the idea of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah aiming at building a generation skilled by technology and technical sciences.
He said that the KFAS is cooperating with the ministry through inaugurating new classes in some governorates to achieve the goals and build knowledge-based economy.
