Education Minister Mahmoud Abul-Nasr has accused those he termed "of personal interests" of launching a campaign against him because of his decision to compile French language book of the secondary stage by Egyptian experts.
In an interview with MENA, Abul-Nasr said "we fear nobody."
"The decision saved billions of pounds for the state," he added.
He noted that the book was sent to France to be approved by the world curriculum center.
"They (the center) said that the book is best French language book to be studied abroad," he said.
In stead of 180 pounds per book, the previous cost, the new one cost only three pounds.
