Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi received today the expert Tony Brandenburg on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain to implement a training programme for teachers and educational supervisors on the criteria of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
He lauded the efforts made to improve the performance of the educational staff in Information Technology (IT), lauding success of three specialists at the Education Ministry in passing the prgramme and obtaining a certificate of accredited trainer from ISTE in cooperation with the GCC Arab Education Bureau.
The minister voiced keenness on further developing education and the electronic content to keep abreast of the latest global trends in this respect.
Education Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma'a and Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Information Nawal Al Khater attended the meeting.
