Around 125,000 copies of school books which cover various educational stages were delivered to Deir Ezzor province.
Director of Deir Ezzor Education Department Khalil Haj Obeid told SANA on Friday that the books are scheduled to be distributed to schools in Deir Ezzor city according to their needs.
Obeid added that the department was handed over the second batch of the copies which included 125,000 school books.
He pointed out that the General Establishment for Printings and School Books has allocated 300,000 copies of textbooks to Deir Ezzor province, asserting that some 200,000 copies were set to the province until now.
Last week, 50,000 copies of textbooks were distributed to the schools of the city.
