Minister of Education Dr Abdul Razzaq al-Ashwal praised efforts of and contributions of the German government in supporting the education sector in Yemen. During his meeting on Thursday with the German ambassador to Yemen Carola Miller, al-Ashwal pointed to the depth of the historic relations between the two friendly peoples. Al-Ashwal reviewed the Education Ministry’s efforts in cooperation with the development partners in promoting the educational process through a number of programs and activities, topped by the modernization of the mid-range framework which include ten programs at a total cost of US$ 500 million, hopping more technical support to the education sector. For her part, the German ambassador confirmed the importance of supporting the education and providing the appropriate school building for Yemen’s children , noting to the Ministry’s efforts in modernizing and developing the educational process.
