Grade 12 students across the UAE celebrated as they received their board exam results today morning. Anant Srinivas Subramanian, astudent of Delhi Private School, Sharjah is among the top-scoring students inthe UAE. Scoring 98.2 per cent in the science stream, Anant woke up to the goodnews of being one of the toppers. “I was expecting a good scorebut being a topper was not on my mind. I just wanted to get into a gooduniversity,” said the student. He was results also came as a ‘surprise’ to his family. “I always knew I would score more than 90 per cent but this is something amazing,” said Anant. The phones have been ringing at the Subramanian home since the results were announced. Anant scored100 in Physics, 99 in Mathematics and Computer Science. Students from the Indian HighSchool, Dubai, Delhi Private School, Dubai & Sharjah, Our Own English High School (Al Warqaa) and other schools also recorded outstanding results with school toppers recording scores above 95 per cent.
