The Karrana Youth Center recently organised a workshop on how to deal with medicine as part of its 2013 Summer Programs. The workshop was divided into three themes, the first of which was about the benefits and harms of medicine and how to deal with each drug in terms of storage, medication period, storage enactment of the patient and its side effects. It was presented by pharmacist Ali Al Nooh, and was held at the Karrana Youth Center Hall and featured participants from in the summer program. The second theme highlighted the collection of medicine from the parents of the participants, who were divided into groups. Medicines were then sorted from health workers Salman Jassim and Ali Al Nooh. In the third theme, workshop organisers distributed brochures related to this matter and also features crucial points of illustration to parents of the participants, while messages to spread health awareness and the best text message competition in this regard were also held on the sidelines of the workshop.
