A bomb that went off on Thursday morning has left at least two students injured in Thailand's restive southern province of Narathiwat, according to local media reports. The explosion took place at the entrance of the Rom Klao school in Narathiwat's Yee Ngor district. Police investigation is underway. According to Deep South Watch, an agency that monitors the conflict in the southernmost provinces of the country, more than 5, 000 people have been killed and over 8,400 injured in the three southernmost provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat since violence erupted there in January 2004.
