Students their parents and Shell staff who are instructors for the programme attended the launch. \"Qatar Shell is very proud to launch this Tajahaz initiative which aligns with the Strategic Qatarisation Plan initiated by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and is part of Shell s Qatarisation programme in support of the human and economic development pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030,\" said Mark Wojcik said. \"Tajahaz aims to give Qatari students a taste of working in the oil and gas industry and to bridge the knowledge, skills and understanding gained in the class room with more life related experience,\" said Ibrahim Al Mannai. Tajahaz combines different learning techniques that emphasize the skills needed to undertake self-based studies as well as learning in a team environment, both of which are critical for success at University and thereafter in the workplace. Various exercises and challenges will be given to the students to let them practice the skills whilst receiving ongoing coaching from the Shell instructors. This will help provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in their university studies and later in their chosen career. Tajahaz identifies promising Qatari high school students and offers them an unique opportunity to prepare and develop their academic and professional skills, whilst making it a fun experience, Qatar Shell added.
