Police managed to disperse students of Cairo University from the Muslim Brotherhood who gathered around the university on Wednesday, said the Interior Ministry. The students blocked the road outside the campus and clashed with residents, said the ministry in a press release. The police arrested a number of them, according to the statement which said that the security forces exercised self-restraint. Meantime, a Giza hospital received the body of a student of Al-Azhar from inside Cairo University, said the ministry. As many as 12 people have been injured in the violence, added the ministry
