Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, has attended the graduation ceremony of the 6th batch of students of Al-Mizhar American Academy in Dubai. The event was also attended by Humaid bin Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education and Ziad J. Azzam, Chief Executive Officer, Taaleem Schools, along with other officials. Sheikh Nahyan awarded high school diplomas to 51 young women graduating from the Al-Mizhar American Academy, from 13 countries, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, Canada, Afghanistan, Sweden, Egypt, India, Iran, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan. During his speech, Shiekh Nahyan re-itterated the interest of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in education as the future of the nation, which is linked to the capabilities and knowledge of their sons and daughters.
