Director of Building Maintenance at the Ministry of Works (MoW) Huda Mirza stated that her directorate has conducted comprehensive maintenance work of 40 schools, among 205 ones in the kingdom, ahead of the new school year, as agreed upon between the ministries of Works and Education at a total cost of BD 2.38865 million. She added that the maintenance work included painting school buildings, replacing the damaged sanitary ware, and repairing doors, windows, ceilings, floors, walls, kitchens and wardrobes of kitchens and classrooms and water drainage systems. She pointed out that comprehensive maintenance work aimed to ensure the safety of school buildings and meet the health and educational needs of students.
