Students of Indian School Al Ghubra (ISG) went on an educational trip to France from November 11 to November 19. The 25 students from Grades 8, 9 and 10 were accompanied by teachers from the department of French, Ponraj Sundaram and Mrs. Bindu Suresh and GDC Rao, manager, administration. The students spent a week at a French language institute at Troissy in the Champagne Region. They attended daily French classes which would surely help them in gaining additional expertise of the language. The students also visited the Eiffel Tower, the Montmarte, the Château de Versaille, the Louvre Museum and had a wonderful time at Eurodisney. The group also enjoyed a tour of Paris on the famous \' Bateau-Mouche\' or tour boats and visited \'La Galarielafayette\' for shopping. The excellent weather and meticulous arrangements made the trip a truly memorable experience for the students. Their active participation and enthusiasm was a key factor in facilitating cultural exchange and helped them share ideas with the French student fraternity. Times Of Oman
