Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi said the Education Ministry has been able to broaden the scope of integrating students with special needs in public schools, especially those suffering from autism. He lauded the leadership\'s support and directives, pointing out that 15 students have been integrated this year and 15 others will be integrated next year. He unveiled a plan to set up a school for autistic students within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the ministry and Alia Centre for Early Intervention. He was speaking as he patronised a graduation ceremony of Alia Center for Early Intervention students which was held at the Diplomat Hotel, in the presence of the centre\'s president Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa and officials from the Education Ministry. He honoured five graduates from the centre who will join the labour market and fifteen outstanding students from Alia Primary School. He offered an artistic painting, presented by Alia Centre for Early Intervention students, to the student Noor Siyadi in tribute to her academic excellence . He lauded the students\' parents and the officials in charge of the centre for their distinguished efforts in providing care and support to the students with special needs. The celebration featured various activities including speeches, artistic shows and songs.
