Indonesia\'s National Education Minister Muhammad Nuh said on Friday that education in the country is on the right track to meet the Millennium development Goals ( MDGs) targets in 2015. \"Education related to the MDGs (targets) is on the right track. We submit the progress to the UNESCO every time. We are optimistic that the targets could be achieved by 2015. In fact, we have achieved 90 percent on several targets this year,\" Nuh told reporters on the sidelines of a special session themed \"Millennium Development Goals and Eradication of Poverty\" in the parliamentary compund. Arif Rachman, member of National Commission on Education for the UNESCO-Ministry of National Education, told Xinhua that the UNESCO has been advising the government on several educational targets. \"We pursue the goal of education for all,\" said Rachman. \"Our effort is to advice the government on how to address problems related to education as we have (certain) indicators. The government should have its own mapping so that all targets could be met by 2015,\" said Rachman, adding that the government has been responding well.
