The Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR) has called on Egyptian students to renounce violence and restore calm to the universities to encourage stable study."The riots, aggression and harassment in Egyptian universities are odd norms of behavior in Egypt," said head of AOHR Hassan Mussa in a statement. The students' movements in Egypt have a long history of honorable struggle against occupation, Mussa said, criticizing sabotage sponsored by political factions that seek disrupting the educational process.Mussa made the remarks following repetitive clashes and violent acts stirred by scores of students in various universities following the ouster of former president Mohamad Morsi after the June 30 revolution.
