Students from 58 schools across the UAE will participate in an inter-school quiz series, Brain Hunt 2011. This year\'s edition of the quiz was launched last week by Inspirations Advertising and Publicity, in association with etisalat and Samsung, and high school students from grade nine onward can participate in it. \"Of the 58 teams, we will select 24 for the actual TV broadcast of the Brain Hunt. We expect the grand finale, which will have six teams, to take place around the second week of December,\" said Kannu Baker, quiz master of the show and MD and CEO of Inspirations Advertising and Publicity. Second year Jaber Al Janahi, acting vice-president, Corproate Communications, etisalat, said: \"This is etisalat\'s second year of being engaged with Brain Hunt and it is an excellent opportunity for us to help in tapping the potential of talented youngsters in the UAE.\" Each round will have six sessions, including Amazing Facts, Newsmaker, Challenge Round, Fun and Games. \"When we first launched this quiz series in 2003, we started with 14 teams. The response from schools across the UAE has been tremendous and this year we have 58 teams,\" said Baker. \"Over the years we have found that students in the UAE are quite aware and competitive,\" he added.
