Following in HBO's footsteps, Showtime has launched its own standalone streaming service.
The network made the annoucment about its new service last month, and doesn't require a cable contract. Deadline reports the launch comes just before this Sunday's new season premiere of Masters of Sex and Ray Donovan.
The application, which works on computers and tablets, will also be accessible though Apple TV, Roku set top box, Playstation Vue and Hulu. While the service is $10.99 on Apple TV, Roku and Vue, Hulu users can access the premium content for an additional $7.99.
USA Today reports the streaming service will not only offer on-demand programming, but live East and West Coast feeds of its programming. The streaming service will also allow access to additional programming such as movies, documentaries and sports.
